The best part is that it comes with a recipe book! This appliance is a combined pressure cooker and slow cooker with the versatility of the classic rice cooker found in many people’s homes. Instant Pot is great when you need to make a quick and easy meal all in one cooking pot without having to dirty up a bunch of pots and pans. You can slow cook, roast, stew, bake, steam, sauté, cook rice, and warm. Here’s a delicious all-in-one vegetable curry rice bowl recipe. A perfect meal that has 5 servings and can last you a full week. All you need is:
Step 1: Combine the rice, water, curry powder, and ¼ teaspoon of the salt in the Instant Pot. Step 2: Seal the lid, close the valve, and set the Manual/Pressure Cook button to 15 minutes. Step 3: Use a natural pressure release for about 12 minutes. When the valve drops, carefully remove the lid and stir in the remaining ingredients. Step 4: Press the Cancel button and set to Sauté. The press the Adjust button to “More” or “High”. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, or until all the ingredients are heated through, stirring occasionally.
