Current Student Nutritionists
I am a senior Public Health Science major at the University of Maryland-College Park. I started with Dining Services in March of 2016 as a Student Nutritionist. I believe that to lead a healthy life, it is okay to indulge in some fun foods every once in awhile to keep your body and mind healthy. Sometimes food is just as important to mental health as it is to physical health, so have fun! My favorite foods are pineapples and veggie burgers :) I enjoy painting, cooking, traveling and hiking.

I am a junior Dietetics major at the University of Maryland, College Park and started working as a Student Nutritionist in November of 2017. I believe that when it comes to nutrition, it should be about moderation and making sure that you are getting all of your essential nutrients. I believe life (and nutrition!) is all about balance, and my favorite foods are (NJ) pizza and kale. In my free time, I love to sing and dance around my living room, hike, and explore new cities with friends.

University of Maryland Dining Services is a site for the University of Maryland Dietetic Interns to cycle through. The Interns are post graduate nutrition majors completing their practical rotations necessary to sit for the Registered Dietitian Exam. As this years interns complete their rotation, they'll be posting weekly guest blogs on the site to keep an eye out for!
Past Student Nutritionists
I am a senior Dietetics student at the University of Maryland, College Park and started as a Student Nutritionist in 2016. When it comes to nutrition I believe that it really shouldn't be difficult. People should eat when they're hungry and when they do eat, try to make healthful choices. I have the world's worst sweet tooth and enjoy baking cookies, cupcakes, and pumpkin bread. When I'm not with Dining Services I spend my time playing on the UMD Club Field Hockey team!

I'm a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Dietetics. I worked as a Student Nutritionist my sophomore through senior year of college and enjoyed every second. My nutrition mantra is "Everything in moderation!" because I believe that indulgence has its place in a healthy diet. My favorite foods are rice and ice cream, and I've been called a great cook and baker! I am currently pursuing my masters in Nutrition Education at American University and work as a FSNE Nutrition Educator.

I am a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a BS in Dietetics. I worked as a Student Nutritionist for 2 years and loved spreading nutrition information and a love for food across campus. I believe that the healthiest way to eat is the way that makes a person feel stronger in body and mind. I believe no meal is complete without pasta and my favorite movie theater snacks are popcorn and M&M's. After UMD I was enrolled in the Virginia Tech Dietetic Internship program, and now I am a Clinical Dietitian at Inova Health System!
