“Avocados and peanut butter will make you fat.”
“Pasta makes you gain weight."
"You should really be drinking a lot less coffee.”
We hear these statements on the news, in magazines, and see them written online. I hear them in the dining halls each week when students talk about this food and that food they don’t allow themselves to have.
However, a majority of foods with a bad reputation actually have many nutritional benefits and belong in a healthy diet when eaten in moderation.
